On November 15th, 2014, Save the Date Music was honored to be a part of the wedding of Shannon and Alex. The glorious fall day was perfect for exchanging vows in an outdoor wedding ceremony at The Carolina Inn in Chapel Hill.
Our guitarist, Dave, preformed many songs requested by the bride and groom. A few of the wedding ceremony songs included Pachelbel Canon, Here Comes The Sun, Fields of Gold, You And Me, as well as a variety of other romantic and classical music in Raleigh NC. The outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour was magical with views that included beautiful Japanese lanterns in the trees.
For the cocktail hour, Dave played for the enjoyment of the mingling families. Their favorites included songs from the Beatles, in addition to other songs like Living On A Prayer, Wonderful Tonight, L-O-V-E and many swing tunes. Shannon was do delighted! She said it would have been very drab without live music.
Following cocktail hour, the indoor ballroom at The Carolina Inn was ready for a beautiful reception, complete with a night of dancing. DJ Randy B kept guests dancing all night with top 40 hits and more!
Tia Jones of Erin McLean Events partnered with the Carolina Inn’s own Melissa Sayre to showcase an outstanding wedding event. We were very impressed with the professional and helpful staff during the entire day; especially during home football game traffic!
Photographer Shane Snider took many beautifully imaginative pictures, all throughout the day. Lynda Graves from Fresh Affairs created exquisite floral arrangements.
Every aspect of this wedding created a night to remember! We wish the bride and groom the best of luck and appreciate the opportunity to work with such a lovely group of people!
